I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Philosophy at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB) under the lead of Prof. Dr. Albert Newen,
My research primarily focuses on conceptual and methodological questions in cognitive science and philosophy of mind. My current research investigates the relationship between predictive processing and radical views of cognition, such as extended and embodied cognition. Other research interests include theories of computation, levels of explanation, mechanistic explanation, and music cognition.
I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh in 2020, under the supervision of Mark Sprevak and Dave Ward. Before that, I completed an MSc in Cognitive Science at Carleton University and a MA in Philosophy at the University of Alberta, under the respective supervision of Andrew Brook and Robert Wilson.
