​​​​I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Alberta. My research focuses primarily on issues in philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and AI.

I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh (2020). I have held previous positions at the University of Alberta (2023), Centre for Philosophy at the University of Lisbon (2022), Institute of Philosophy II at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (2021), as well visiting positions at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of London (2023) and University College Cork (2018). 

​When not philosophising, I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, travelling, and playing hockey.
