I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Alberta. My primary research interests are in the philosophy of mind and cognitive science, with additional interests in the philosophy of science and AI.
I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. Before joining Alberta, I was a Killam Postdoctoral Fellow in the Philosophy Department at the University of Alberta (2023), FCT Junior Researcher at the Centre for Philosophy at the University of Lisbon (2022), and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in NeuroMind at the Institute of Philosophy II at Ruhr-Universität Bochum (2021). I was also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Philosophy at the University of London in 2023. When not philosophising, I enjoy reading, camping, and playing hockey. |
